Arezzo a city in Italy was once an important Etruscan town and was known to the Romans as Arretium. The city became famous through Guido Arezzo who originated solfeggio better known as the mnemonic music system known to many from the song in the Sound of Music that starts ''Doe a deer''. The city is now known as an agricultural trade center and has a thriving clothing, gold and jewellery industry.
